Hey again! It’s Cherry Blow Dry Bar, and we’re back today with another edition of our DIY series. Today’s hairstyle is all about adding a little drama to the humdrum of our “new normal” lives. After all, there’s no harm in looking cute, even if we have nowhere to go!
A little drama: The deep side part is a classic look that serves up a little drama: taut and smooth on one side, amplified volume on the other. Wear it casually with your natural texture or by restyling that 3-day old at-home blowout!
This style can be created in 4 easy steps:
- Using a comb, create a neat, deep side part. *Expert tip: flip your hair from side to side and look for which direction makes your roots stand up highest. This is the side you want to keep your hair pushed over to.
- Apply a texturizing product to your roots for volume and hold.
- Smooth back the smallest side of hair and secure with a bobby pin or snap clip, placing just above the ear. Remember to pin from the bottom, up.
- Finish with a little hairspray on the pinned side, and a small amount of smoothing cream or serum on your ends.
That’s all there is to it! If you try it out, feel free to tag us and show it off (@cherryblowdrybar on Instagram or Facebook)!
